ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Psychology department is well furnished with a department library, a well equipped laboratory, educational models, charts and CDs.
The department employs innovative teaching techniques including power point presentations, paper presentations, group discussions etc.
The department brings out an annual journal called "Psyche".
Various activities are organized by the department for the welfare of the students.Visits to old age homes, hospitals, Aloysian Boy's home, correction homes and psychiatric hospitals are conducted. Inter class activities like quiz, case analysis etc are also held.
The present staff consist of Ms. Shalini Aiyappa, HOD and Ms. Wilma Vaz.The depatrment presently consists of 83 students.
