STUDENT INITIATITIVES

Throughout the years students have taken up many initiatives and made the department proud.

2001-2002

• A documentary was made on Multiple births titled 'Geminus'.


• Participated in Psychovision organized by SDM College PG dept. Ujire and won the first prize in quiz.

2002-2003

• Students gave a talk on Adolescents-coping with the changes to St.Aloysius School tenth standard students.


• Participated in Psychovision organized by SDM College PG dept. Ujire and won the the first place in quiz and retained the rolling shield.

2003-2004

• A documentary was made on the elderly titled 'Voyage of Life'.


• Participated in Psychovision organized by SDM College PG dept Ujire and won the first in dance and second place in Mad Ads.

2004-2005

• Conducted inter class collage and psychology quiz competitions.


• Students brought out a book on Return to Innocence.


• Attended a workshop on Transactional Analysis at St.Agnes College.

2006-2007

• Conducted inter class and inter collegiate psychology quiz.


• Conducted a study and made a documentary on Play Behaviour, Parent Child Interaction, Language Development, Peer relations.


• Inter- class case analysis competition.


• Inter- class collage competition.


• Workshop on Hypnosis and NLP.


• One day workshop on Skills in Conselling.


• A talk on Indian Psychology.


• A talk on Importance of Breast Feeding in collaboration with BSW.
