TALK BY DR RAVISH THUNGA

talk on “The role of mental health professionals in the 21st century” was held for the final year students of psychology on 23 August 24, 2007. The resource person was Dr.Ravish Thunga, Professor at KMC, Mangalore. Dr. Thunga is also a consultant psychiatrist at Manasvini Counselling Centre.He spoke to the ‘budding psychologists’ about the various mental disorders prevalent in the 21 century and emphasized upon the importance of the role played by mental health professionals. The talk was relevant to the academic interests of the students and proved to be very informative and enlightening
